what i've been up to lately...

well, it's been a while since i have refreshed this blog with new saturday smalls...believe me friends when i say that i have been working away here in the studio on many projects that have taken me away from my much loved saturday routine...why is it that once you've broken a routine, it can be a slightly difficult to get back into the swing of things?...anyway, i'm sure you have been in the same boat at one point in your life...here is an example of a painting i've been working on, it's a series of american mid-west scenes painted in a larger format...i promise to be back to posting more saturday smalls in a couple of weeks...please keep checking back!...

this house has been abandoned by it's human owners a long time ago and has new owners of a different species...i didn't notice them at first and after a few minutes of taking photos of the house, a huge herd of cattle emerged from behind it...i'm not sure if some of them were actually in the house but it certainly looked as though the herd had taken over ownership of this once lovely farmhouse...i wonder, do the cows have barbecues in the summer?...
